C.R.A.F.T. Challenge No.23 Halloween

This week's challenge at C.R.A.F.T. is Halloween, we had to do it at some point. I love Halloween, trick or treating with my 8 year old all dressed up, and the weather starting to get colder, going into late Autumn.
For my card I've used a spooky house digi image from Digital Delights, coloured it with pro-markers in oranges and greys/black, and added some orange gems to the top. I've used the pumpkin Cuttlebug embossing folder, distressed it, then added spiced marmalade Distress ink to it. The pumpkin image is stamped, cut out, then framed with a metal embellishment. The spooky stamp is stamped with black soot Distress ink and I've added bits of it around the word to make it look more 'spooky'. The DP is MME Boo to you.
The prize this week at C.R.A.F.T. is a lovely digi stamp and digi backing paper from Gina at Your Special Delivery.
I'm also entering this card into a few challenges:
1. Stamp Something - Halloween
2. Daring Cardmakers - These are a few of my favourite things, to use at least 5 of your favourite things. Ok, my favourite things are Cuttlebug embossing folders, square cards, gems, the colour orange, metal embellishments and lastly digi images from Digital Delights. (that's 6, I added an extra incase any of them don't count).
3. Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge - orange and 1 other colour. I've used shades of oranges and greys.
4. Crazy For Challenges week 8 - It's all geometric - use at least 3 different shaspes. I've used a square, rectangle, oval and circle.
5. The Pink Elephant - the colour black, hardware and distressing. I've distressed the embossing and used a metal embellishment.
6. Cuttlebug Be Inspire #55 - to create something with your 'favourite' on it. I've listed my favourite things already, but will add again that it's my favourite colour orange and my favourite time of year.

Delightful Sketch 10

It's time for sketch #10 at Delightful Sketches today. The prize is a fabulous $15 store gift certificate for Embellish It The DT have all made creations using the sketch and the new releases. My card was shown yesterday, but I'll pop it on again today, and go through what I did and used.
Dps are MME and K&Co, images are the new releases of Santa Ridley and the fireplace coloured with promarkers, and a little stickles added to the flames. I've added Santa Ridley with silicone to give him a bit of dimension in front of the fireplace. The poinsettia and leaves are by Prima, to which I've added some gold pearls in the centre. Green ribbon is Anna Griffin, gold ribbon from stash. Faux stitching is a stamp, as is the sentiment, which I tried to curve a bit to stamp. All on an A4 card.
Hope to see you join us, the challenge will last a fortnight, and you can use any image, it doesn't have to be from Digital Delights, but would be lovely if it was.
Please pop by Digital Delights as Wendy is previewing some of her new rubber stamps. The set is called Billy and Maggie Carolers and will be available from Clear Dollar Stamps on November 1st.

Providing this prize is Craft Obsessions who stock an extensive range of crafting goodies.

For my DT card I've done something different. I printed out an image and backing paper from My Craft Studio, decoupaged the image and added glaze to the cats and the moon. The sentiments are stamped with blue versafine and embossed. I've inked the edges of everything, and punched a heart from the bp to add to the top. Other items used are a Martha Stewart punch, blue card, white A5 cs, clear gems and ribbon from stash, and lastly a blue crochet flower. I'm not sure whether I like it or not, I suppose because it's a different style to my norm.

Other items used are red Bazzill cs, papers - all K&Co, more blue sparkly brads in the corners, and some lace from stash.
