C.R.A.F.T. Challenge No.9

Challenge 9 has started on the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge blog. We want to see unusual shaped cards, no squares or rectangles allowed. All entries must be in by 8.30pm next Wednesday to be in with a chance to win the prize which is a lovely unmounted stamp from Just Tracys. New work only please. We are also looking for 2 new DT members, so if you're interested in applying, just put DT entry into your posting linking to this challenge.
For my DT card, I've made a card in the shape of a cat. I'm not very happy with it though, I think it's the way the tag turned out with the metal magic. First time I've tried this technique so I can only get better! I've added a little bell round the neck as well, and wire for the whiskers. My nephew should be happy with it for his birthday, as he loves cats. Please visit the blog to see what everyone else in the DT have come up with, there's some really good inspiration.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge No.7

Sorry I'm late posting my DT card, my dad was rushed into hospital this morning, and I'm running to and from the hospital and looking after my mum who has very bad MS. I've finally got a few minutes to myself so need to do something to take my mind off things.
On to the Challenge at C.R.A.F.T. This week it's decoupage, something I think you either love or hate. I've used a download for my image, (found online, can't remember where from or whose image it is, so if anyone recognises it please tell me so I can credit the right person). I've coloured the image with pro-markers, and layered the dress, hair, wings, socks, some of the berries and a leaf. It's the first time I've used the combination of purple and green, and quite like it. The dp is HOTP and cs is Bazzill. I've added some Bazzill flowers and a Dovecraft brad, and also a butterfly charm. To finish, I adhered a strip of card to the side with some K & Co. gems.
The prize this week is from Donna's Den of Crafts and it's some fab Dovecraft goodies.
Please post new work only, by 8pm next Wednesday to be in with a chance of winning. Please take a look at the creations by the rest of the design team for some great inspiration.
