The challenge this week at C.R.A.F.T. is a sketch. The design team have all used images by Jenni, who is sponsoring this week's prize. You'll find her digital images and stamps for sale here.
I've made a gatefold card, and coloured 'Cosy Snowman' with pro-markers. Sorry the pic isn't very good, I had to hold the card closed, so chopped my fingers off when editing. Please only enter new work by 8pm next Wednesday to be entered into the draw.
Items used:
Red mirri card with swirls by Kanban from QVC
White glitter card, snowflake punches, sentiment from stash.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge No.18 DT card and Allsorts Challenge 19

The challenge this week at C.R.A.F.T. is to make a card with no backing paper. We have a lovely prize from Debbie at The Crafty Pad on offer.
For my DT card, I've stamped some snowflakes straight onto a blank white A5 card with Versamark and then dusted them with gold Cosmic Shimmers. The sentiment has been embossed in gold, with the edges ripped and also embossed. I've dusted a little Cosmic Shimmers over the sentiment too. I've added a couple of punched, embossed and stickled snowflakes to the card, and finally some gold ribbon.
I really enjoyed making this card, as had to think about what to do instead of reaching for the papers. Hope you can join us this week.
I'm going to enter my card into the challenge at Allsorts. Week 19 is 'Snowflakes in September'

Stamp Something, Paper Cutz and one Stop Craft Challenges

The challenge at Stamp Something is to use your favourite colours or papers. I've used blues and whites which are my favourite colours for Christmas cards.
Paper Cutz Challenge 9 is to make a project with lots of bling. The snowflakes have stickles, and shiny stickers on them and I've used stickles on Mimosa's hat and coat. The photo doesn't show how glittery the card is.
One Stop Craft Challenge 47 wants to see bears on your cards this week. My image is of Mimosa cuddling a bear.

Everything else from stash.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge No.17 DT card

We have a nice, easy challenge at C.R.A.F.T. this week - pink and brown. You can make anything you like, doesn't have to be a card, as long as it's new work, and is in by 8pm Wednesday evening. There is a fab prize being offered from Just Tracys of flowers, charms, pearls and more.
For my card this week, I've combined stamping with distressing and paper weaving.
Dps - Basic Grey Sugared
Image - it's one I picked up in a sale for £2, and had no labels or anything saying anything about her.
Inks - versafine and distress
Sentiment and ribbon from stash
CS - Bazzil
Stickles - Stardust
I stamped the image straight onto BG paper, embossed it and coloured the hearts in the hair with a pro-marker, then stickled them. I did a bit of wonky paper weaving with BG papers, then matted it and added the ribbon and sentiment. The hearts were punched out. Distress tool used is by Heidi Grace.
The creations by the rest of the DT are stunning, so please take a look.

ICS, ABC, PFP, Stamp Something, Anyone for Anya Challenges!

I'm getting back into my crafting gradually again after my 'shed building break', and yes Sharon, I will be adding some pics soon, it just needs a bit of a tidy up.
I've managed to fit 5 challenges to this card woohoo!!
In alphabetical order the challenges are:
1. ABC : D is for Die-Cuts. These can be shapes you've cut yourself...or bought die cut shapes...or even punched shapes. I've used my Labels 8 nesties, and a Martha Stewart scallop punch and branch punch.
2. Anyone for Anya? : Buttons, bows and brads. I love Anya stamps, so just had to join this challenge. There's a button on the flowers, brads in each hole of the Martha Stewart double scallop punch, and a bow charm, as well as the bow in her hair.
3. Inspirational Card Sketches 33 : A sketch by Dawn B which I chose to follow as I think it's fab.
4. Passion for Promarkers 16 : The colours this week are sandstone and blue pearl.
5. Stamp Something : The challenge is to use your favourite stamp, and to try to use some punches or die-cutting tools (used 2 MS punches and Labels 8 in my Cuttlebug).
