I ♥ Promarkers Challenge 72 - Flowers!

Hi everyone, hope you've all been enjoying the hot weather we've been having here in the UK. I'm a real winter person so I'm pleased it's cooled down a bit today. We had a fab party at the weekend for my daughter, as she's leaving us to join the RAF next week. I'm so proud of her, but am going to miss her sooooo much.

Onto this week's challenge at I ♥ Promarkers, another nice easy one - include flowers. With it being summer, most of us are using flowers on our creations now anyway. The winner will get their choice of 5 fab digis from Di's Digi Downloads. The Design Team got to choose some digis from our sponsor so I chose the castle background, then added a couple of Tildas and a digi sentiment from TLC Creations.
Get ready for picture overload lol!

I decided to have a go at a gatefold easel and add the scene into the hidden centre. I coloured the 2 Tildas and the castle background with Promarkers. The dp is from Making Memories, it's gorgeous and so sparkly. (I usually write everything down so I remember, but I didn't do it for this card for some reason). The corners and tag that Tilda is sitting on are also from the Making Memories set (I got it from QVC). I've punched the paisley papers with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment has been die cut with a Nesties Labels die and added with a couple of layers of foam pads.

The butterfly is by K & Co and matched the papers perfectly. The laser cut corner is by Make It Crafty and is actually green, but my not so good photo taking skills have made it look a lot darker. I've added some Papermania green star gems either side of the corner. The flowers are Prima, to which I've added some Stardust Stickles in the centres. The leaves are a Marianne Creatables die. The gingham bows are Martha Stewart, and the crown charm is from Quixotic Paperie.

There are 3 gems on both sides of the openings of the gatefold, inside and out. I've added Stardust Stickles to the edges of the background picture and the castle windows as well as Tilda's wings. Also used are some random pearls and gems. I think that's it!

I ♥ Promarkers Challenge 71 - Anything Goes!

Hi everyone, it's time for another challenge at I ♥ Promarkers and this week it's Anything Goes!
Our sponsor is Digi Doodle Shop with the winner getting a $10 gift certificate to spend in the fab online store.
The Design Team got to choose some images, so I decided to go vintage for a change and used one of the ladies from 1900 & 1920 Vintage. She is of course coloured with Promarkers.

I've created my own backing papers by stamping over HOTP plain papers with sewing machines, buttons and safety pin images from a Personal Impressions stamp set called Vintage Sewing stamps. I used Distress Inks to give a faint impression. I ripped and distressed all the papers and went round all edges with a Promarker. The tag is cut from HOTP papers, the postcard border is also from HOTP. Other items used are lace, a Martha Stewart punch, a cream feather, button and twine, and some gems and beads coloured with Promarkers. The cardstock is Papermania Kraft 6 x 6". The flower I made by scrunching up some old Prima petals and adding Gesso. I've also added Gesso round the edges and randomly on the card.

I'm entering my card into these challenges:

Creative Craft Challenge - make your own backing papers
Quirky Crafts Challenge 13 - theme box - Ribbon and/or Lace, Digi or stamped image, 3 backing papers (mostly made by myself with different stamped images)
Sketchy Colors Challenge 76 - Cream, mint and olive

I ♥ Promarkers Challenge 70 - Black/White + 1

I ♥ Promarkers challenge this week is to create something using only black, white and one other colour.
Our sponsor is Susie from Die Cut Dreams with the prize being a fab selection of die cuts.

I decided to make another Fathers Day card this week for my hubby, from my son. I've used a Lili of the Valley image called 'No. 7' Bear coloured with Promarkers. All papers are from a football pad by Paper Cellar. I cut the football word out of one of the papers and 3D'd the ball. I've used a Martha Stewart punch to the sides of the image. The screw brads are by Woodware and have been coloured with a red Promarker. I've also added red Promarker round all the edges. The cardstock is white 6 x 6" Bazzill.

I'm entering my card into these challenges:

Lili of the Valley Challenge 101 - Bring on the music - Football's coming home by Frank Skinner and David Baddiel.

Lili of the Valley Challenge 100

I'm having a lovely, relaxing Saturday evening at home on my own for once. I've got Create & Craft on the tv and a box of Maltesers by my side. It's bliss!

I've been busy making some Fathers Day cards this last week. I bought a couple of gorgeous stamps from Lili of the Valley especially for  FD cards. I desided to go with a monochromatic look for a change. I've coloured the Cheers Bear with my Promarkers, then die cut him with a fab new Nestie. The dps are HOTP and K & Co. I've added some dark grey satin ribbon with a bow all on a white shaped card.

I'm entering my card into these challenges:

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge - Cards for a man or a boy
PaperPlay Challenge 11 - Week 23 - Fathers Day/Man's card

I ♥ Promarkers Challenge 69 A Sketch

Hi all, this is my first post for a couple of weeks - I've just come back from a lovely holiday in Majorca with my family. I've got so much washing to do, and no tumble dryer at the moment, so I have to rely on the weather to get everything dry, but it just won't stop raining here! Already I feel like I need another holiday lol.

Onto our challenge this week at I ♥ Promarkers. We have a fab sketch for you by Karen.

Our sponsor is The Secret Crafter and the winner will get 3 digi images of their choice!

For my card this week I've used a gorgeous rubber stamp called Wee Snippet from the Crissy Armstrong Collection for Whimsy Stamps. She has of course been coloured with Promarkers. I've added some glitter to her wings, hairband, waistband and bracelet. The image has been die cut with a circle Nestie, then matted onto DCWV card cut with a scalloped circle Nestie.
The dps are DCWV Once Upon A Time and Prima Fairy Flora.
I've used a Martha Stewart punch on the card along the centre, then added some ribbon and a bow at the side of the image.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and some have been sprayed with brown Memory Mist and gold Crafters Companion Glitter Spray. The leaves were done with various MS punches. The bead string is from stash, the pearl is Prima, and the laser swirly chipboard corner is by Make It Crafty.
Cardstock is white Bazzill 6 x 6".
