I ♥ Promarkers Challenge 54 Stitching!

The challenge this week at I ♥ Promarkers is Stitching.

Our sponsor is Digi Doodle Shop with the prize being a $10 gift certificate to spend in their online store. They've got so many fabby digis to choose from.

For my DT card I've used an image called 'The Left Shoe', coloured with Promarkers, inked round the edges with blue Heritage Ink and some faux stitching added. The image has been die cut with Nesties Labels 10, then matted onto a chocolate card base which has also been die cut. I've added 3 buttons with twine to the bottom.
The base card is a circle folded in half to make a rocker card. The papers are Tilda Frosted blue/green inked and faux stitched. Cardstock is DCWV.

I'm entering my card into these challenges:

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge 82 - Use punches or dies
Stamps R Us Challenge - For the Girls

I ♥ Promarkers It's our 1st Birthday!!

This week over on I ♥ ProMarkers, we’re having a Blog Hop to celebrate our 1st Birthday, which will also be our weekly challenge. I hope you will all join us in our first ever Blog Hop, with a Birthday themed card.

We’ve got prizes from Whiff of Joy and Letraset for the lucky winner, and also, all the DT girls have a little prize to give to someone leaving a comment on their blogs. The Blog Hop will end at 6 pm on Tuesday 15th February, and the winners will be placed on the challenge blog, along with our next challenge, on Wednesday 16th February.

Here’s a picture of my prize. I will add more to it if I get over 30 comments.

For a chance to win, just leave me a comment and complete the hop around the DT blogs. It would be fabulous if you became a follower of my blog, but not necessary to win.

Here’s the list of the DT's blogs. You need to hop around them in this order, and leave a comment on each one. They've all come up with some stunning creations.

Julie - that's me!

Then go back to I ♥ ProMarkers and leave a picture of your project with Mr Linky. You MUST use Promarkers to be eligible to win.

I've made a birthday card for my sister this week. I used a shaped 8 x 8" white card and made it into an easel card. The image is from the S.W.A.L.K. range by Crafter's Companion. I masked it to add another image, the grassy background is a Magnolia stamp. I coloured the images using Promarkers, then did the sky with Distress Inks. I die cut it using a Nesties Labels, then matted it onto a layer of Tim Holtz dp.

All the papers are Tim Holtz, inked round the edges with Distress Inks. The heart doily has been sprayed with Crafter's Companion Spray & Sparkle Gold glitter spray, and a string of gold beads added. The lace has been lightly sprayed with the gold glitter spray, and I've added a little gold Stickles too. The flowers have also been sprayed. The lace and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia. The leaves are various punches and the tag is a Labels die. The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch, with some Stickles and Dovecraft gems added. The other gems are K & Co.The sentiment in the top left corner is Anna Griffin.

Edited to add thanks to all my new followers. As the comments have reached over 30 now, I'm going to add some ribbons and lace, brads and some buttons.

I ♥ Promarkers Challenge 51 - Anything Goes!

Sorry I'm a bit late with my post today, it's been one of those days when I've had a few unexpected visitors. Now I've got the house to myself,  I can finally tell you about this week's challenge at I ♥ Promarkers.
It's a nice easy one this week - Anything Goes!!

We have a great sponsor this week too! The winner gets a £10 gift voucher to spend at the fabulous Joanna Sheen online store.

On my DT card I've used one of the fab designs from the Simply Sassy range of stamps illustrated by Krista Smith. It's called My Friend Kitty, and you can find her at Funky Kits.

She's been coloured with Promarkers, then die cut with Nesties Labels 8. The dp is Origins by BasicGrey on Kraft 6 x 6" Bazzill cardstock. I've punched some green card with a Martha Stewart deep edged punch, then added some lovely wide green ribbon. The heart is a die cut stamped with black Versafine, the flowers are Prima, and I've used various punches for the leaves.

I'm entering this card into these challenges:
