I have been doing some crafting behind the scenes. I've been working with the Laurence Llewelyn Bowen Venaissance range for Trimcraft. I will post some examples of what I've made soon. If you're wondering whether it's worth buying or not, go for it. The papers, ribbons/lace, feathers and beaded tassels are all absolutely gorgeous. You can expect more beaded tassels on future projects as I've fallen in love with them.

New Challenge Blog C.R.A.F.T. I'm on the DT.
Hi everyone, I want to tell you about a new challenge blog called C.R.A.F.T. Started by Trimcraft forum members, so originally stands for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies but more apt, Can't Remember A Flipping Thing.
This is a new challenge blog open to all crafters out there.
It's a weekly challenge taking place on Thursdays, varying from sketches, shopping lists, colours and many more, from week to week.
You can use any technique you wish, so decoupage, parchment, stamping, embellishments are all welcome (unless the challenge is a specific one). It can be a card, layout, ATC, altered item, anything goes.
The challenge will start running on Thursday, 21st May, 2009.
Tracy is spotlighting the Design Team to let you know a few things about each person, and showcase their work over the next few days, so go check it out. Plus I'm on the DT, so I look forward to seeing everyones creations. There will be prizes most weeks, so see you there on the 21st!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge
The challenge this week at Stamptacular is to use a charm on your card, and of course stamping. It's called 'Charmed I'm Sure'. For this challenge I'm entering a card and bookmark set I've made. The bird stamp is by Inkadinkado, stamped with sepia versafine and heat embossed. The corner stamps are by Prima, again embossed. Dp is K&Co, mounted and layered on bazzill card. I've added ribbon, flowers and a pearl charm to embellish. I followed a fab sketch by Karen from Craftbubble.
