I'm back finally after a spate of bad health. I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year, mine was a bit strange this year. It was the first Christmas without my darling mum.
Onto this week's challenge at I ♥ Promarkers. It's #48, and the theme is 'Punches'. Our sponsor is Crafty Individuals who are offering a fabulous prize. I've just had a look at their website, and they have some gorgeous rubber stamps.
I needed to make a card for my daughter as she turned 20 on Sunday (doesn't time fly?). I've used an 8 x 8" card blank. The gorgeous image is called Hippie Chick, and she's by an artist called Krista Smith. You can find her, and others in the Simply Sassy section from Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits.
I've used Promarkers to colour the image. Other items used are Nesties Labels 10, a Tim Holtz embossing folder on white card, purple card, a Prima flower and gems, 2 different punches for the leaves (1 being Martha Stewart), a heart gem, and finally some letters and numbers from my stash. I'm not overly happy with this card, but I'm sure I'll get more creative as I get back into things.
I'm hoping to be posting regularly again now, I really missed crafting over the last few weeks. I'd also like to thank Karen for keeping my DT position open for me, I'm so pleased to be back with our fabulous team at I ♥ Promarkers.
