I ♥ Promarkers Challenge 28 - At the Seaside

It's time for Challenge #28 at I ♥ Promarkers and the theme this week is At the Seaside.
We're being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and the prize is  $15 to spend in their online store.

For my DT card this week I've used an image by Elizabeth O. Dulemba called Summer Reader coloured with my promarkers, then cut out. I've added Glossy Accents to her glasses. The backing paper is Kanban - Artscapes - Coastline. The beach has been embellished with Martha Stewart glass beads in copper and gold and some stuff I found similar to Flowersoft. This has been mounted onto DCWV tan card, after being punched round the page with  Martha Stewart punches, then layered onto sky blue card.
All corners have been rounded using a corner punch and Fiskars scissors.

The summer embellishment was a chipboard freebie from a magazine, which I've sanded a little, and coloured over with a brownish ink. The ribbon is from a past gift I received, and I've coloured it with a pastel blue promarker, as it was originally white. It has been wound through the chipboard, then frayed at the ends, and a gem added on top.
The cardstock used is an 8 x 8"  pearl card.

Please enter new work only, and link to us at I ♥ Promarkers by Wednesday. Please could you disable word verification too, it makes it easier for us to visit your blogs.

I'm entering my card into these challenges:
The ABC Challenge - B is for blue
Alphabet Challenge Blog - P is for punches
Creative Inspirations Challenge 40 - Recyle element on project - (ribbon was from a gift)
PaperPlay Challenge '10 Week 32 - Bon Voyage - (on vacation)
Craft Your Days Away Challenge 1 - Favourite things - (mine is sitting on a beach in the shade with a good book)
