I've been invited to do a guest DT slot for 2 weeks at Anyone For Anya? This is my first week, the challenge being paper piecing. It's something I don't do very often, I don't know why, as it's so much fun. I've used one of the Miss Anya Dressy range of stamps, coloured her skin and hair with pro-markers, then paper pieced her clothes with K&Co. I 3D'd the aprony bit at the front of her dress a little for some dimension, and added a sparkly brad to the flower in her hair. I sprayed the Prima flowers with a little Crafters Companion silver glitter spray, added a pearl blue brad and a silver flower charm. Other items used are red Bazzill cs, papers - all K&Co, more blue sparkly brads in the corners, and some lace from stash.
The prize has been sponsored by Tracy at Dies To Die For, (check out her special daily offers) and is a fantastic set of Anya and Ian stamps. The DT have some fab inspiration, so hope you'll join in with us.
I'm a 44 year old mum of 2, a daughter of 19 and a son of 8. I haven't worked since having my daughter as I became ill and was diagnosed with lupus 14 years ago. I wanted a hobby that would take my mind off everything, so crafting was suggested to me. I started in March/April 2008 and have been having fun learning lots of techniques ever since.
