Sorry, I'm so late with my posts today, and I have a few to make. Been a busy, stressful day so far. Onto the Challenge at The Crafty Pad, it's a recipe this week - 1 ribbon, 2 papers, 3 brads and a swirl. For my GDT card I've used Faith Looks Sure. Debbie sent me the digi image of her, which I've flipped, as I wanted her facing the opposite way, then coloured her with pro-markers. The swirl is also a stamp from The Crafty Pad from a new set of stamps not long released. I've used black Bazzill cs, papers are from a set from QVC, brads, ribbon and sentiment from stash. I think Faith looks very feminine in pink. Please check out the DT cards, they're fab. The prize is 1 week GDT and a Crafty Pad stamp that the DT shall be working with too. If you use a Crafty Pad stamp then your name is entered twice. If you do not use a Crafty Pad stamp then your name is entered once. You do not have to make a card - it can be any craft item that fits the challenge. All entries are to be submitted by Saturday evening 8pm GMT.

I'm a 44 year old mum of 2, a daughter of 19 and a son of 8. I haven't worked since having my daughter as I became ill and was diagnosed with lupus 14 years ago. I wanted a hobby that would take my mind off everything, so crafting was suggested to me. I started in March/April 2008 and have been having fun learning lots of techniques ever since.
